Our goal is to establish an elementary school that will
provide a solidly Catholic, classical education to children
in grades pre-K through 8. The Neumann Classical School will be the first primary school of its kind in the NYC area. We emphasize classical learning, academic excellence and the formation of the virtues. We teach using traditional, time-tested methods of instruction. We seek to enrich the moral imagination using the great works of the Western canon. We extoll the good, the true and the beautiful as they are understood in the Christian tradition. We hope to nurture devotion to Our Lord through prayer, sound catechesis, regular access to the sacraments and the example of teachers who love and serve Our Lord. We want to immerse our students in the living tradition of two thousand years of Catholic thought, history, art and culture, so that they might grow and flourish as sons and daughters of God.
Additionally, Neumann Classical School will serve the
local community by providing scholarships for promising
students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
We have an initial goal of $100,000 to secure our lease
with the archdiocese of New York. A secondary goal of
$250,000 will need to be raised to meet our start-up costs before we accept fee-paying students. We have already come very far by the grace of God, but we need your help.

We are pleased to announce that the Neumann Classical Group Inc. has been granted 501(c)3 non profit status by the IRS. Your donations in support of the Neumann Classical School are now fully tax-deductible according to the law.
