. Update on Nathan Watchmen Black Rehab at the Shepherd Center as of today, Dr.Dennison changed his inpatient projected discharge date from 2/14/2013 to 1/30/2013. Nathan will be staying with me at the apt where I've been staying since I got here until the end of March beginning of April, next to the Shepherd Center into a outpatient rehab setting, I will be bring him to and from

This is where he will have extensive Therapies to learn independents and every day living with assists and supervision at all times. Dr. Dennison wanted to change his medicine (Amantidine) that helps with neuro stimulate, and calms the brain to a different medication because Nathan seems to be making little to no progress in his memory functions and cognitive disorder but it had very bad side effects of seizures so I didn't want to change it at this time, I want to wait in see how Nathan does in 2 months then go from there, I'm not very comfortable with putting him on that medication right now. Nathan is still in the confused state of mind and Dr. Dennison is giving him 2 months from when the accident happen to come out of this Cognitive Disorder because if he doesn't Nathan will likely stay in this state of mind forever and he will never be able to be on his own, he will always need assists for the rest of his life. and needing supervision 24/7 to keep him safe and he will not be able to return to college for another 2 years if at all :( and more then likely it's looking more dim for him to return to Pre med and have to change his major. I can tell you that out family has been turned upside down forever and I wish I could take this all away from my son and wish this never happen to him. I just pray that he over achieve's the Doctors expectations and proves everyone wrong :) where he will be 100% himself again :) God and Nathan Watchmen Black amazing brain only knows this answer to what his future holds. My heart is so heavy right now just to think I can't fix this for him at all :(( it's all up to him and the man up stairs. Please everyone keep praying for him that he will recovery from this Traumatic Brain Injury and all of his cognitive disorder subsides.
Nathan will be tested for 3 hours with the Neuropsych on Monday to see where he stands in the Domains of cognition disorder and Post Traumatic stress disorder Amnesia.
