Mission Nicaragua 2015

Before I go into my story, I would like to thank you in advance for reading it. My family and I truly appreciate your time.

 

My husband and I, along with our beautiful children (5 year old son, 5 year old daughter, and 2 year old daughter) have been attending a church called Step of Faith Ministries. In less than a year, we've seen God's mercy and glory work in our lives in so many ways, it can be hard to believe at times. Because of this, I've decided to partake in this year's mission trip to Somoto, Nicaragua in July. There I, along with others from my church, will be ministering to others, providing necessary supplies for over 1000 children including the handicapped, including, but not limited to, things like medical supplies, school supplies, clothes, shoes, toiletries, beauty supplies, food, etc, and I will also be helping remodel churches. In order to do this, I need to raise enough money for airfare for myself and for the luggage that I, along with my church, will be taking full of supplies for the beautiful people of Nicaragua. 

 

My husband and I strongly believe that this may change my life for the better, but most importantly change the lives of those in need. I realize that I am very fortunate to have what I have and I am willing to lend a hand to lift those up that need it. All of this is done to glorify God and I love nothing more than to do just that. If it weren't for God, my husband and I would not be as blessed as we are today. Unfortunately, my husband will not be able to go because we do not want to risk putting our children through the starvation and thirst those in need go through on a daily basis. I will be going through 8 days of change of smell, of bathing, of eating, of drinking, etc, and that is something that my kids are not old enough to step in and "tough it out".

 

All I ask if for some help. Airfare for my person along with supplies is not cheap, but this is something that God has put in my heart to do and I am determined to get there one way or another. Even if it's just a few dollars, it's a few dollars closer than I was before to going. Thank you in advance for your donations, allowing me to be closer to reaching out to others with the Word of God and bringing the supplies they need for every day life. God bless you always.
