I woke up to the most...

I woke up to the most beautiful sight, some blessed wonderful loving individual has donated to make 100% of my trip funded. What does this mean...my place is secured on the mission team for the 8 day trip. Turns out airfare causes me to spend 4 extra days...dreadful I know ; ) Any extra donations will go to the cost of hotels etc. for the four extra days. We did it team; we are all God's team working together and this would not be possible without you guys!

Dear Family and Friends,

Greetings! I pray that this letter finds you and your family well. The Lord has been so faithful! He is doing wonderful things and I know that He will continue to be faithful to finish the good work He has started in me. God has given me to the opportunity and drive to pursue a mission trip requiring $950 (without airfare) to Thailand not only to further my awareness, but also to join Him in His work there. On October 26, 2012 I will be departing toThailand for 8 days. Behind Thailand’s beautiful beaches, the Thai people’s ever-smiling faces, and the lush tropical jungles lies a terrible secret: modern day slavery. As the Thai economy strengthens and the natural beauty draws visitors, tourism of a different sort also flourishes. Human trafficking and sexual tourism continue to grow. My hope is to share love and a promise of forgiveness to these women.

The trip is being funded by myself and any donations provided. My sweet loving father has been generous enough to let me use his flyer miles for the plane tickets. Every penny collected will be used to directly benefit the women of Thailand and providing a ministry opportunity to others.

I am excited about the opportunity to serve and to minister, and I ask you to join me in ministry. I am seeking your support and prayers for this mission trip. I thank you in advance for your prayers and your financial support. May God bless you richly!
