I am raising money to enable Marijan Tompa to attend the 2011 Print and ePublishing Conference in Washington DC.
For those of you who don\'t know him yet, Marijan Tompa is a graphic designer and prepress operator from Subotica, in Serbia. His everyday work includes working with Adobe applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and of course InDesign. As a matter of fact, he\'s been using InDesign since version 3 back in the year 2003. He recently started to write very interesting and useful scripts to speedup his (and our) InDesign workflows; and he shines at that!
As a Chapter Representative of the Subotica InDesign User Group and the host of the IndiSnip (InDesign Scripting Snippets) he wants to spread the word about Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite in his city and country.
The fact is that his enthusiasm and dedication have exposed him to horizons far broader than those he initially imagined. And I also know for a fact that he would be tremendously honored to be able to join other InDesign experts in person at the InDesign conference of the year: the 2011 Print and ePublishing Conference in Washington DC.
I will be collecting funds through my paypal account and, once the goal is reached, will transfer the funds to him. Paypal is not available in Serbia...
