Memorial Fund: Victims of the Oct 14th Malahat Tragedy

Donation protected
On Sunday, October 14, it was a wet and foggy morning when tragedy struck and five young lives were forever changed during an automotive collision on the Malahat.

They were Diane Bocacao (19), Jr Corpuz (20), Kloie Jamisola (16), Pheap Top (31) and her 6 year old daughter, Sarina lovingly nicknamed "Timbit".

To our deep sadness, we lost Diane, Kloie, and Pheap that morning.  While it was miraculous that Sarina survived relatively unharmed, JR is, as of this writing, still in critical condition at the ICU in Victoria General Hospital.

This tragedy has struck deep in the hearts of family, friends, and the community. So much youth, life, and potential forever lost.

While our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to both Sarina, who has lost her mother, and to courageous JR, who is fighting to stay alive, so many of us have asked how can we help?  What can we do?

This Memorial Fund has been initiated to help alleviate the financial burdens associated with the funeral costs for the immediate families.  Your donations will help the families receive the closure they need and ensure these young people's lives are recognized and celebrated.

Please take a moment to contribute to the fund that will directly help the families in this tragic event.  After that, please also continue to send out the love, thoughts, and prayers to Sarina and JR for a speedy recovery.

You CAN make a difference in the lives of the people left behind. Please donate and share your love.

With love and caring,
Kuya Randy
