ASL Music for Everybody

I am a Deaf artist who wants to make art more accessible to people who communicate using ASL or are learning. I want to create a team of awesome talented Deaf, hard of hearing and Deaf-blind to make cool artsy projects similar to the one above. My goal for this fundraiser is to offer a honoriam to a fabulous Deaf aboriginal film editor who I've had the pleasure of meeting. The fund will go towards her and I will be doing this for free. My vision for this project is to have a higher quality and better videos with the help from videographers and editors. I've been making these videos from the comfort of my own home for over 5 years and this is the next step that I am aiming for!

Currently, I am partnering with YouthCO to provide us the space to do this production of "The Dark I Know Well" by Spring Awakening  . The song is about domestic abuse and I think this piece resonates with many Deaf individuals in the community... I hope to create more conversations around sexual abuse and self-expression through art. 

We start shooting on March 27th and we're very excited about this new project! Please help us venture on this unique journey together.
