MSU Fan Lost Limbs, Not Hope

Lansing, Michigan resident Brittany V. has been battling a blood infection and has had many close calls. The infection spread to her heart, spleen, liver, kidneys, and her limbs. As a result, she has had to endure dialysis, heart surgery, and the amputation of both legs and one arm. Her only parent, single mother, Candice V. has not left Brittany's side for a moment, fearing that she might not make it. Though Brittany's mom is not at risk for losing her job, she has been without a source of income during her leave that began in mid-March when Brittany had first been hospitalized to this present day, and most likely weeks to come. Though Candice is very grateful to all the doctors that have fought so diligently for Brittany's life, we hope to raise this money to help her so she can continue to dedicate her full attention to the recovery of her only child.
