MP3 to Benefit the Peduzzi Family

MP3 campaign – to sustain the memory of Mark Peduzzi (MP), to benefit his family and our community. 

The Ward and Ward Lumber families are very saddened by the recent passing of our own Mark Peduzzi.

Mark worked at Ward Lumber in Jay for 29 years. Mark served in a number of different capacities but most famously as the face of Ward Lumber that greeted thousands of customers over the years at the sales counter in our store in Jay, NY. Mark’s knowledge and experience in building and hardware was invaluable to Ward Lumber customers and our employee team alike. Mark was a sought after source of knowledge for many customers over many years.

Mark was a devoted husband to Paulette and dedicated father to Luke, a college senior, and Naomi, a high school senior. Mark was also very involved in his community through long time service to such organizations as the Jay Entertainment and Music Society (JEMS) and Holy Name Church.

Mark loved music, so MP3 is a fitting start to the idea of doing 3 nice things for others in his honor.

Mark was very involved in Naomi’s college search at the time of his passing. I enjoyed talking about their college visits with Mark.

Mark was the consummate volunteer. He was always helping with community organizations and helping others.

And Mark loved his family and was very proud of his kids.

Can you do 3 nice things for others today, this week, this month?  We hope that the MP3 campaign will keep Mark’s memory and philosophy of helping others alive and strong.   

Please consider doing any and all of the following in Mark's honor:
1-Give: via this GoFundMe campaign to a fund for the benefit of his kids college plans (funds will be matched by Ward Lumber)
2-Volunteer: for a community organization of your choice
3-Love: your family and friends and be sure to tell them often
 
We invite you to consciously do these 3 things for others in memory of Mark. And we suggest that you then ask 3 people to do that same, and make those acts of kindness spread throughout our community. 

Please consider donating to this GoFundMe campaign to benefit Luke and Naomi's college fund. And your donation will be matched by Ward Lumber up to the first $2500. These funds will go to the college of Naomi and Luke’s choice. 

Mark Peduzzi lived his life to the fullest. He was a dedicated family man, active in his church and our community. Mark genuinely cared for people, and never hesitated to lend a hand when needed. And Mark loved his family dearly.

We can all be inspired by the way Mark lived his life and we can honor him by living our lives to the fullest and helping others too.   

Let’s never forget Mark by jumping on the MP3 campaign bandwagon. You will not only enrich the lives of others, but your own too.
