Why do you love Israel?
I'll tell you why I love Israel. I love Israel because all my life growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, something didn't feel right. Something about me didn't quite fit. Somehow I knew I was a stranger in a strange land.
Then I got to Israel, and like the last puzzle piece fitting perfectly into place, something clicked. My soul was finally plugged in. From the moment I stepped foot on that soil, it was like a ship coming home into harbor for the very first time. My ancestors had been taken from this land. My soul had traveled from Israel, to Rome, to Europe, to America, and now it had finally landed where it was supposed to be, back in the land where it was supposed to be.
I knew from that moment that I would dedicate my life to helping the ret of Am Yisrael return home and stay home. All of my talents I dedicated to the cause, making films, writing, sharing my story. Today, even while I study in University, I realize that my purpose here is to continue with my mission.
I want to share my story and thousands of other stories of my fellow Jews who have finally plugged into the land where our people originated. In order to do this, I need to get the personal stories of why those people dedicated their lives to this place. In order to do that, I need to get to Israel and produce films to bring back to the US and continue what I do here until I finally land in Israel for good.
