Have you ever had a dream and decided to follow it. Imagine finding the perfect weather and following it....and writing about it...
We have a dream to find the weather we like and follow it. We left Upstate NY in October to find our definition of the perfect weather. We are traveling in our boat and going down the eastern US coast. We have 4 of our children with us. Our children ages range from 15 years to 4 months old. We are home schooling them and teaching them boating and many other life skills that you don't learn in a classroom. They get daily history lessons about the different places we visit. We call it our Great Adventure. We did not come to this decision lightly. We wanted to teach our children about the world, and what is better way to do that, then let them experience travel. So many people have told us to write about it, so that is what we have decided to do. We want to share our story with the world. We have a blog that we have been trying to keep updated with our daily adventures. This is a risky project. So many things can happen when you are out there boating. We believe that this adventure will teach us and our children to be better people. This adventure is about learning about who we are and what we are capable of being as people. We want our children to learn that if you have a dream...try your hardest to make it come true.
This was a beautiful sunrise along the Hudson River. I had to run back in to the boat to get the camera quick so I could take a picture of this great view.
