Reaching the Addicted in London, UK

We,  (John and Sally Childress) have been asked to head up a ministry to the addicted in the center of London, UK with ASLAN (All Souls Local Action Network). We work as missionaries with Life Is Full Of Choices and have been full - time working in the US and Europe since 2012 reaching those struggling with addictive behaviors with the hope of freedom in Christ.  Many of the people we will be working with are not only struggling with addictive behaviors but are also homeless or very vulnerably housed.  Our target leave date is August 5th and we are raising funds for our airfare and start-up costs.  We will be gone initially for one year but it could grow into a longer mission.  We will be training others to take on this work. Absolutely vital when a ministry needs to take root and grow.  We also hope to host others to come and see the work, participate and take it somewhere else where it is needed.  This is an amazing journey for us and we would love for you to have a part in this ministry and help others find freedom in Christ from their devastating habits. 





John has had a heart to reach those trapped in addictive behaviors for a long time. He has written a book of his life story and journey with addictions; also the freedom he has come to experience. He also presents a seminar with useful tools to help train others in a local church setting in the principles of Life Is Full Of Choices. We will be incorporating this into our ministry in London. 
Sally comes alongside with her training and experience in biblical counsel, cross-cultural ministry and reaching out to women. She also brings her struggles with depression and how she has gained freedom, and still does, from this debilitating condition.
