Study Abroad in Urbino, Italy
Hello!
My my name is Kristal Pardo and I am currently attending the University of Texas at San Antonio. At the moment I am a junior working on my bachelors degree in Interior Design and in the near future, hope to get my masters in Architecture or Constuction Science Management.
In UTSA’s College of Architecture, they believe that a global experience is very important to the overall development of all the design students. The study of other cultures is an important piece of an architectural education, and development of life skills in general. For my study abroad location, I have choosen to attend Urbino, Italy in spring of 2016.
The spring semester will be here before we know it and I cannot wait! Designing is my passion and I have wanted to do this for as long as I can remeber. I have been saving up and working at The Home Depot to pay for this trip since I was in high school. It's now my junior year in college and still struggle to gather the money for this amazing opportunity. The cost is my UTSA tution (financial aid will take care that), plus the money for Italy which is about $10,000 (passport, plane tickets, transportation, room & board, etc.) If anyone would like to help me fund my semster in Italy it would help me out a whole lot!
