In Illinois it is now legal to celebrate love in one or more of its many forms. Having just moved from Tennessee - we are taking the opportunity to share in the joy of married life now available to us.
The Scoop:
We met in seminary. Too many books, too many papers, too much life - road trips were MANDITORY.
Some people fall in love over drinks, or movies, even sunsets with roses. We fell in love driving late into the night, talking about everything possible and a few things impossible. We wrote musicals, determined the nature of evil (we are ministers after all), and we laughed at hundreds of odd Americanisms. We told each other the story of our lives. Perhaps most importantly - we dreamed, huge impossible dreams that had laid dormant until lovingly coxed out at 4 am.
What we love about each other includes:
Singing
Dog antics
Fart jokes
Cooking (not necessarily related)
Home repair
Strong opinions
G-d or god or goddess or the great whatever. We are going to provide the option of buying shares in a honeymoon trip.
The Skinny:
For our honeymoon we dream of a train trip to Montreal or Calgary (Pam has never been to Canada). This will cost about $6,000 with all the stuff you need for that sort of trip. In lieu of presents we are asking you to help us get there.
Your name will go on a HUGE card and with a deep sense of appreciation we'll send you some annoying photo like card when we get back from the trip with more information than you may want about our adventures. AND...we will be grateful and joyous - no matter what.
