Justice for Michayla begins today.
In the early hours of Sunday 8/17/15, our daughter was viciously attacked by her husband.
The extent of the incident and injuries will be left private, out of respect for her and her children.
Our family is standing behind the motto "NO MORE SILENCE"! Domestic violence is never ok.
By the grace of God, our daughter will be okay physically and her children are safe and away being well cared for away. Michayla will be starting over with very little.
Our family has been inundated with calls, messages, etc. asking how people can help us.
The number one way you can help us is through PRAYER. She needs to feel loved, she needs to feel cared for, and she needs to be reminded that she has lots of people who are here to support her.
Like many women who have been the victims of domestic violence her scars are deep... Deeper emotionally than even physically.
We ask for prayer that he remains detained and cannot get access to her.
We know Michayla is going to have to start over, and we are taking that day by day right now. She is missing a lot of work while she heals, and she does not make enough money to pay for child care and to work. We will be trying to get her assistance with that as well.
We are setting up this page two-fold:
1) Please leave her a message of support and encouragement so she knows just how many people truly love her and are praying for her.
2) If you want to help donate something for a fresh start for her, please do. She will need funds for deposits, housing, clothing, furnishings, etc.
