This is our kick-off fundraiser for the Joana D. McKeoun Memorial Scholarship fund!
To get things started and be able to award a scholarship this spring, we would like to raise $1000. In order to continue the legacy of Joana's scholarship indefinitely, we are setting up an endowment fund with the Saginaw Community Foundation so that eventually it will support itself without any further fundraising. However, in order to achieve this goal, there will be quite a bit of fundraising going on during the first couple of years.
Education was extremely important to Joana, and I know she would love the idea of helping a high school student get one step closer to achieving his/her dream of going to college! Please help us reach our goal by donating - no amount is too small! :)
