Jenny West: Wonder Woman

**UPDATE**
Because of the generosity of friends and family (some that don't even know Jenny personally!), the goal for her has increased in order to further help her meet her medical debt. There is no way to realistically determine a specific goal and where she stands financially with medical bills still coming in daily. Thank you for your continued support. Jenny told me earlier she is 'feeling the love' from all of you!

We've all heard the saying 'bad things happen to good people'. Jenny West is one of those people. If you know Jenny, you know she has a heart of gold, but she has been dealt some really difficult cards in life. Over the course of the last year and a half, she has spent a majority of it in the hospital-including Thanksgiving Day in 2013 and 2014. As you may know, Jenny suffers from Crohn's disease. At the end of 2013, she was admitted to the hospital and had to undergo emergency surgery to remove most of her colon. She had to have an ostomy bag, but was given hope they could 'reconnect' her someday. In September 2014, the doctors decided she was ready to do this. She had the surgery and was in the hospital for recovery. Everything was good for a few days, until there was a leak and she was becoming septic. She underwent emergency surgery again and they brought the stoma back. Since then, she has had difficulty getting better and is still not there. I have just touched on the medical issues she has faced. Her hospital bills have piled up and due to being out of work for so long and on short term disability (where she doesn't receive her full paycheck), she is struggling tremendously to pay her bills. And on top of all that, Jenny was involved in a wreck that totaled her car on January 15th. She doesn't have any major injuries from the wreck, but she has no vehicle now. As she is trying to heal, all of this added stress is not good for that process. We get asked all the time, 'What can we do to help Jenny?' Here is your opportunity: Give as much as you can give to help her down the road to recovery. Let's get these hospital bills paid, relieve some stress and get our 'Wonder Woman' back on her feet!
