I've been a professional writer, journalist and celebrity interviewer for years and always dreamed of being a novelist. At the age of forty-one I did what I once thought was impossible, I completed my first full-length novel.

I followed that success in 2017 with The Pretty Good and Pretty Representative Stories of J.C. Maçek III, a collection of shorter works including a sequel to Seven Days to Die in The Pestilence of Spring: A Jake Slater Mystery. In this centerpiece, Jake Slater is pitted against the murderous costumed criminal Spring-heeled Jack, who is determined to bring the city to its knees his way. Joining Jake in this collection of twelve are the interstallar adventurers of the Lobo Maru in three strange tales. Both books have been released in print and kindle via the independent publisher Titanikos Press, thus I maintain the copyrights to my work, but do not enjoy the advertising funds that larger publishers offer. 

Everyone who reads these books loves them (and, no, I'm not talking about friends and family here), but it costs money to get these books into the hands of more people who want to read them. Even reviews sometimes cost money. 

I'm asking for a small donation to help promote and advertise my books simply to put them in the hands of more readers. Everyone who reads them loves them, but not everyone knows about them. I'm looking to change that and drum up interest in the future Jake Slater Neo-Noir novels, Hard Core, Kill-Devil and The Corvidae Murders.

I plan to utilize tried and true methods of advertising, such as Google Adwords, Amazon and other promising sources of promotion. Not a penny will be wasted. 

Any donation over twenty-five smackers gets at least one book. Higher donors get autographed copies and Platinum Level donors will get all that, plus a special dedication in the new book Hard Core: A Jake Slater Mystery, due out later this year.
