IB Sharks Over Sea Mission

This September 20, 2013, the Imperial Beach Sharks Baseball Team has the rare opportunity to play ball in Curacao. The Sharks 11U Team are very excited to participate in a week long tournament and cultural exchange. However, they need help to get there. This is where we need the support from you and our community to get them there and represent Imperial Beach!

The Sharks have evolved from a winter team to a travel ball team and have a successful record of 21 wins, 5 losses and 2 ties. The team has already gain experience playing tournaments with teams from Mexico on both sides of the border. They are committed to working hard so they can play their best in Curacao.

The Financial Cost of the trip for 14 players is $50k. This includes airfare, food, housing, and permits. Each player will be working hard to raise money for their individual tickets but you can help as well by making a donation today!
