Ignite Highland Hills Park Trail

Highland Hills Park went through a renovation a few years back but needs your help complete the trail work. The future expansion of the trail would allow many residents to have access to the trail from multiple entry points. It would also involve building a bridge which could resolve the issue of walking through a creek to get to the other trails. The foundation for the trail is there but we really just need to clean it up and make it safe for all ages to walk/run along. Eventually we would like to have station points along the trail for cross training and stretching as well as some benches.  Mark it down! On July 31st we will be having a large volunteer event  to kick this construction off.  It is a collaboration of folks from  Duke Energy, the Highlands Cross Country Team and Family, Fort Thomas First Responders and City Employees as well as residents of Fort Thomas willing to lend a hand. The event will run from 8:00 am-2:00 pm and food and drinks will be provided. More details to follow so mark it down now!  Let's make this happen and put the finishing touches on a great park!
