Help Create the Everest To End Duchenne 2022 Flag

Welcome!

I'm setting up this fundraiser to provide funds for the creation of Everest to End Duchenne Flag of names that will be carried by the 2022 team from Lukla, Nepal to Everest Base Camp.

At Base Camp, the flag is unfurled and all the names - somewhere between 800 and 900 of them - are read into the wind to be carried around the world as a prayer for hope.

The flag is expensive to make! They are created by a specialty shop in Colorado and consist of heavy outdoor polyester/nylon fabric in two outside layers with a third, light blocking layer sewn between. The 2022 flag will be 6'x8' in size, and grommeted.

I am asking everybody to chip in a small amount. The power of numbers is such that if 500 folks can donate a little over $3 each, we can more than cover manufacture and shipping costs. Any excess funds raised will go directly to sponsor research efforts through the Hope for Gus foundation, a 501C3 certified organization.

Please give what you can, but don't break the bank! Let's use the power of numbers to make this a group effort.
