Please help Bella & Bailey run

Donation protected
Hey everyone.

Thank you for taking your time to read through this..

I need your help; please, help me put an end to Bailey & Bella's pain, nurse them back to health and get them back to the out doors so they can go for walks & make friends
Bailey & his sister Bella are 6 month old puppies who are in urgent need for hip surgery. Bella has both her hips fractured and Bailey his right.

They're sweet, smart and playful siblings with a great personality who have now spent the last 7 days in separate cages.

I found them in December 28th and although I never before had puppies or pets taking them off the street was a no brainer.

Bella is playful, full of mischief and goofy while her brother Bailey is more of a worry wart, loves to cuddle & loves giving kisses.

The first Vet I took them to mis-treated Bella giving her round worm medication when she had tape worms. For a month her belly bloated. Her little tiny body was in distress and so I took her back, again, with stool sample in hand to demand the correct treatment only to be told she had Giardia. She's been my sick girl since the beginning and I've spent countless sleepless nights making sure she wasn't in pain.

This same vet gave them the rabies vaccine almost a month and a half before its even legally accepted.

When they were close to 3 months I would take them every where when I started noticing that Bella began limping and then waddling. All my neighbors said she probably pulled a muscle while jumping and to give it a week or so. Worried, I took her to a second Vet in hopes that they could direct me but they dismissed it and said it was nothing. When her limp wasn't gone I took her to a third Vet who insisted it was "growing pains" and when she got spayed I demanded X Rays be taken.

At the same time, when Bailey was getting neutered and too was now limping. Their X Rays were taken, carelessly, to shut me up, they took X Rays of their legs charging me $296 to say say "see nothing."

For the last 3 weeks of May, I took them for mile long walks and to the park for hours at a time so they could burn all that energy while making friends.

Last Tuesday, Bailey stopped using his right hind leg all together. He was hopping around and although they have yet shown real pain I rushed them to the Vet, the 3rd one who has now mis-diagnosed them twice. After almost an hour of waiting, in tears, I tell them that I wasn't a doctor but that for him to stop using his leg altogether could not be a growing pain that he had to be in pain and once again demand XRAYS.

This time this new Veterinarian orders hip x rays that show that my girl has both her hips fractured and my boys right hip. All I could think was that for almost a month, I made this 10 times worse by making them go on mile long walks and allowing them to run around the park with other dogs while they all plays "got your leg." Once again, I am charged $296.

They now tell me that they're in dire need of HIP SURGERY as they have hip fractures and that the surgery costs $2000 per hip. Obviously, although a different doctor, these are the same people who said previously that this was a "growing pain" prescribing antibiotics and anti-inflammatorys so I went to two other Vets for a second and third opinion.

The final Vet specializes in Ortho and confirmed their hip fractures but continued to say they would need to retake the X Rays as the last Clinic mislabeled those and failed to stamp them.

I personally avoid going to doctors not only because of the cost but because it seems they mis-treat your illness purposely so you can continuously go back.

I unfortunately, am going through a rough patch and don't have the means to fully pay for this. I have spent well over $2000 in the last 3 months on Veterinary bills alone and although I have tried to negotiate some type of payment plan its either all or nothing.

I know this is a lot to be asking for, especially for pets, but they've saved me and in the 5 months that I have had the honor of sharing my life with them them I couldn't imagine ever living without them.

Personally, I have never asked for help for me, likely due to pride or fear of getting turned down but you're not helping me, you're helping two beautiful dogs who happen to be siblings who need help.

I am asking for your help. Please help me give these puppies the life they deserve.

Thanks!
