It's been a while since the last update, but Tasha is doing great! She is still in therapy and is still believing for complete restoration.

Please keep her in your prayers and thoughts, and please keep donating and sharing her "Storey" as the Lord impresses upon you to do so. God Bless!

Tasha has been home for a few days now, adjusting to her new circumstances. She was able to go to church yesterday, for the first time since her accident! Her spirits are high, now that she's been home and able to go to church.

Please continue to pray for her and her family, to give, and to share her story!

Tasha is coming home!!!! She is currently scheduled to be discharged from HealthSouth tomorrow! Rhonda, Tasha's mother, had this to say:

"Please continue to pray for her healing in her stomach and stump, we still have to dress it. Please also pray for my mom Dottie & I & my dad Paul, that we have the strength to do things that need to be done. Tasha will need someone full time with her till she has the strength & training to be on her own,I look forward to her having her own place and to drive once again and to work, these are goals she has set. I'm so thankful to all who have prayed and visited and have loved on us. We are not back to normal anymore, but a new adventure in our lives, can't wait to see where God takes us."

Please continue to give, pray, and share!

Tasha Bradford and Sylvester (Buck) Storey were married at High Praise Worship Center in Panama City, FL on October 19th, 2013. They honeymooned in Gatlinburg, TN. On their return trip from their honeymoon, during the morning hours of October 27th, 2013, a devastating accident occurred near La Grange, GA. Tragically, Buck was immediately killed and his bride was airlifted to Grady Hospital in Atlanta.

Tasha was initially in critical condition and has had several life-sustaining surgeries so far the last few days. One of these surgeries involved the amputation of one of her legs.

Buck was a wonderful Christian man. He had been a commercial fisherman for years, but recently had decided to switch jobs, as he wanted to be home more with his new bride. As a result, his new job's benefits had not kicked in yet in time for this terrible accident. Neither did he have life insurance.

Tasha's family is in need of your prayers and money, as the bills will soon be piling up, for Buck's funeral expenses and for Tasha's medical, rehab, and therapy bills. Tasha herself has inadequate health insurance for all the expenses that she has accrued over the past few weeks. Being that she has been in a hospital 300 miles away from home, her mother has also had to take an extended leave of absence from her job to be beside Tasha's side. Money won't replace her groom, but the thing that should least be on her family's mind in this time of grief is how she's going to pay for the medical bills and even simple cost of living expenses, as she won't be able to return to work for quite some time. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated.

Many have asked for an address to send letters and gifts. The family has set up a PO Box at:

PO Box 19314
Panama City Beach, FL 32417

Any letters, cards, or gifts are very welcome. Just as Tasha has been an encouragement for many through this process, she herself gets encouraged from notes and comments from all of you.

I am so sorry for your loss but also very inspired by your courage and faith in God. He definitely has a plan for you and you are right, "those people who helped you out of the wreckage did not show up by accident; they were led there by God". Continue to be strong. You and your family, as well as those who have helped you, are in my prayers. Joe

My husband and I hope to have a daughter some day, and for years we have saved the name Tasha for her. If we have a girl, I will tell her that this name she shares with someone of incredible strength, someone whom God loves, an amazing woman she can look up to you. My best to you, you are in my prayers.
