The Tunnell Agency is going Purple 4 the Kids in October to show support of Domestic Violence awareness month. Our Community Cause Campaign is raising funds for the beautiful children being housed in an emergency shelter by the amazing organization Family Rescue.
Family Rescue is dedicated to eliminating domestic violence in the Chicago community by providing comprehensive support services and shelter to victims of domestic violence; particularly to abused women and their children; engaging in advocacy to promote future system change and encouraging prevention through community education.
Family Rescue envisions a world where safety and well-being is a shared responsibility within and among families and communities, achieved only when the most vulnerable among us is safe, and a society free of violence is a reality for all.

Domestic violence affects families regardless of socio-economic background, race, religion, ethnicity, gender, etc. These children who are coping with a violent situation may have left home without many essential items. The Tunnell Insurance Agency's has set a goal amount of $500 that will help provide these children with those items.
