This has been the hardest year of my life. I lost my job, and soon after, I lost my dad. The loss was terrible for me, but absolutely devastating for my 7 year old son, DJ.
A great friend of mine gifted to us, tickets to see Pearl Jam in Cincinnati on October 1. This is something that both of us have been looking forward to, as a way of easing our troubled souls for just a night or two. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the gas or food or lodging to get there. I only have my unemployment to live on, and it's not enough for day to day expenses, much less for this extravagance.
Any monies donated will be used to get to Cincinnati for the concert, and if there's any left over, I will be taking DJ to the Cincinnati Zoo the day after. We are two lost souls, with broken hearts. If you can help, every little bit counts.
