Volunteer Trip to Rio de Janeiro

I have been accepted to volunteer in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with an NGO called "Project Favela." While I am there I will be working in the biggest favela in Rio (Rocinha) with kids from ages 3-10 teaching English along with other classes such as music and theatre. The purpose of this trip is to essentially bridge a gap and reduce social differences between all the world's people-including myself. I will be working to educate these kids so that they can better enhace themselves and those around them in the favela.
