Redmond Summer Lunch Program

Donation protected

Open Kitchen partners with the City of Redmond, Hopelink, local businesses, local elementary schools  ... and most importantly individual community donors ... to provide lunches during the summer months for kids who rely on free and reduced lunches during the school year.

The Redmond Summer Lunch Program is 100% funded by community donations.

This summer marks our 4th year providing lunches to kids in need.  Open Kitchen organizes all food donations and volunteer lunch-makers, Hopelink fills in the food gaps, and the  City of Redmond provides daily programming (games and fun at Sunset Gardens Park on Avondale) where the lunches are distributed.

For summer 2017, plans are to make and distribute 2000 lunches! To do this, we need financial help from the community. Monies raised will be used to purchase food/supplies for the lunch program. The following graphic shows the approximate costs of this year's program and the different donation options; You can Fund a DayFund a Week or Fund the Summer! We welcome donations of any size!

Donation options include using this GoFundMe page or sending/dropping-off your donation to:
