I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and kindness I have witnessed through this fundraiser for the Fazio family in memorial of my cousin Christie Billodeau Fazio. It is so amazing and heartwarming to know how strongly our family, friends, and community care for each other. Christie was the most beautiful person, inside and out. She had a heart of gold and a smile that could turn anyone’s day around, which was fitting for her line of work as a nurse… A career which she was truly passionate about. Christie was also an active member of the South Shore Baptist Church in Hingham, MA and had a strong faith in the Lord and lived her life to please Him. I am sure she is amongst His Angels looking down on her precious healthy baby boy, Jonathan Lee, and her loving husband, John, guiding them through this tragic event. I can’t help but recall the glow that surrounded both John and Christie when they welcomed us into their new home in Marshfield, MA this past September, celebrating the exciting events taking place in their new married life…friends and family, young love, big dreams, a new home, and a baby on the way. Christie smiled ear to ear at the mere mention of being a mother, and my heart breaks to think that little Jonathan will never have the chance to know her as we were so incredibly blessed to have known her. She was only able to look into her son’s beautiful face very briefly before she was rushed into emergency surgery but I am certain her smile will leave an eternal imprint on his heart. My heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who have contributed to this fund financially as well as spiritually through condolences and prayers. I hope that her husband John, son Jonathan, mother and father Rick & Maureen, and brother Scott find comfort in the love and support that clearly surrounds them. Thank you again!

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of our sweet Christie Billodeau Fazio - wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, and co-worker. The Lord brought her sweet newborn baby boy into the world yesterday morning and then called Christie home to Heaven. Please pray for her husband John, her parents Rick & Maureen, and her brother Scott as well as all other family members affected by this tragic loss. May God's comforting hand be there for everyone and may our sweet Christie be at peace in the arms of the angels. We ask that you donate to this fund in order to help John care for his beautiful baby boy while grieving for the love of his life. As a new father, he will face many challenges in the days ahead and I pray that we may be able to offer some financial relief to lift some of the burden and allow him to make peace and care for his son. No donation is too small. Please take a moment to share this with your friends and family. We truly appreciate your assistance in this family's time of need. Let's remind them how much they are loved and cared for. I'm sure that Christie would want us to offer some comfort in her family's time of grief. Thank you in advance. God Bless. Rest in peace Christie.

How very tragic & sad. As a Mom myself I know the joy that comes with new life. It is so sad that with this baby's new life came the loss of his beautiful mother. R.I.P. Condolences, prayers, & strength to the whole family.

I am so sorry for your loss and pray that the love and support of family, friends, and even strangers is giving you a sense of comfort. I don't know if you've heard about the Liz Logelin Foundation -- but suggest you reach out to this wonderful organization that was created because of the loss of another first time mother that passed away after childbirth. The husband/father also has a blog that chronicles his experiences as a first time father and raising his baby girl alone. [http://thelizlogelinfoundatio n.org/] Wishing you peace always --

My condolences to you, family and friends of this lovely young woman. The Word of God says, To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Though her body is silent she still lives and her absence is Heavens gain. My heart felt sorrow is always or the family when a loved one has departed their earthly body. What a bitter sweet loss at such a wondrous time, the celebration of a new life your child, brother, grandchild, nephew, cousin and friend who can comprehend. Remember that our Lord and Savior is right there with you to strengthen you and bring unspeakable peace upon you because His Word says, He is with us always. When my Dad went to Heaven last year The Lord said to me, Johns on vacation waiting for you to come; and until this day those words continues to bring me peace whenever sorrow tries to overwhelm me. Please keep in mind that the children will be looking towards you to draw on your strength as you Dad and older family members go through this so soon lifes trial, trust God and allow the Holy Spirit to give you Words of wisdom that will bring right understanding to the children and as you look at the children God will use them to strengthen you. Father, in the name of Jesus I know not what to pray but I hear you saying, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding and in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. May you be filled with the Peace of God, the Love of God and the Joy of God, every second, every minute, every hour and every day. God Blessings upon all. Your friend In Christ Jesus.

We pray for John, Baby Jonathan, and the extended family as well. Such a sweet family. All our children were born through crisis birth and the first was by C-section where the doctors feared for both mother and child. I know what it's like to face the prospects of losing both. May the Lord give special grace and embrace this family through the support of caring, considerate, and compassionate friends who will continually support this family.

Rememberthemothers.org is a great website to honor mothers. You can have a piece of a quilt made in her honor. It can say whatever you want. It could be an amazing way to honor and remember her.

If Tomorrow Starts Without Me If tomorrow starts without me, And Im not there to see, If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me, I wish so much you wouldnt cry The way you did today, While thinking of the many things, We didnt get to say. I know how much you love me, As much as I love you, And each time that you think of me, I know youll miss me too. But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand, That an angel came and called my name, And took me by the hand, and said my place was ready, In heaven far above, And that Id have to leave behind All those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, A tear fell from my eye, For all my life, Id always thought, I didnt want to die. I had so much to live for, So much left yet to do, It seemed almost impossible, That I was leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays The good ones and the bad, I thought of all that we shared, and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, Just even for a while, Id say good-bye and kiss you And may be see you smile. But then I fully realized, That this could never be, For emptiness and memories, would take the place of me. And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow, I thought of you, and when I did, My heart was filled with sorrow. But when I walked through heavens gates, I felt so much at home When God looked down and smiled at me, From His great golden throne, He said, This is eternity, And all Ive promised you. Today your life on earth is past, But here life starts anew I promise no tomorrow, But today will always last, And since each day is the same way, Theres no longing for the past. So when tomorrow starts without me, dont think were far apart, For every time you think of me, Im right here, in your heart. If Tomorrow Starts Without Me If tomorrow starts without me, And Im not there to see, If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me, I wish so much you wouldnt cry The way you did today, While thinking of the many things, We didnt get to say. How we will miss her infectious smile and sweet spirit! To the Billodeau and Fazio families, friends and well-wishers: remember that God is with you in this time of sorry, even through the darkest midnight grieving. Recall Christies hope and know that the sting of death does not prevail. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5
