On September 10, 2014, 22 month old, Elijah Hunter Concha, was murdered by the person who gave birth to him. The money we intend to raise will go towards a non-profit foundation as well as the publishing of a book written for Elijah by his father, USMC Sgt. Juan D. Concha. Both of which will benefit REACH (Remembering Elijah through Awareness and Change).

"As days turn into weeks and weeks into months people will naturally move farther along the road to forgetting. Sadly, for me, the reality of my new life begins to slowly settle in and with it a new awful kind of normal. No pumpkin picking with Elijah this year. No Halloween costumes and stopping him from eating too much candy. There will be no first day of school. No first formal. No teaching him to drive. No prom. There will be no more first. The first anything for my beloved Elijah are no longer possible. On November 16th we would have celebrated your second birthday; however, there will be no celebration because on September 10th 2014, celebrations died with my son. And I continue to die every day with every passing moment and every passing memory." - Sgt. Juan D.

Elijah Hunter Concha was destined to grow and do great things. We refuse to let that plan go. His murder does not mean he cannot continue on the path to impact this world. Elijah Hunter Concha was meant to grow up and do great things, change the world leave an impact. Just because he was murdered does not mean we cannot continue doing greatness in his name. His memory will live forever and his legacy will definitely make an impact on this world for other children. With these donations his non-profit foundation REACH, will be able to help others and succeed.

Your donations help us be the change we need to see in this world. As the site is updated regarding REACH’S progress, we would like to thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping us be the spark plug for the changes we are fighting to see.
