Mission to Dallas: Internship Fund

I, Duresny Nemorin, will be attending the Marcus Graham Project iCR8 Summer Boot Camp in Dallas, Texas. From June until August 14 other young professionals and I will create an advertising agency and execute campaigns for clients who are: Beats by Dre, Pepsico and Usher Raymond’s New Look Foundation.
Marcus Graham Project is a national network that is dedicated to the development of the next generation of thought leadership within the advertising, media and marketing industry. It was founded in 2007 by Lincoln Stephens and Jeffrey Tate, and since they have worked several groups of young professionals, providing them real-life scenarios to learn and grow.
This summer my team and I have created 15Hz Advertising Agency. I will be playing the role of the media planner, which is the individual who places the advertisement on certain media platforms (i.e.: placing the commercial on a certain networks, placing the graphic imagine on a billboard, web banner or magazine).This is a great opportunity because it will give me a chance to showcase my skills and natural talents to the executives within my client's companies. If I properly display my hard work and intelligence this summer, then this boot camp may result to great career opportunity.
Unfortunately, this big break is unpaid. The program is offering me housing and a round trip ticket, but I am responsible for local traveling expenses, providing myself meals and obtaining equipment. My goal is to reach $1,000, and so far I have saved up $400. Your donation will bring me closer to my goal. All proceeds benefit the Duresny Nemorin’s Mission to Dallas: Internship Fund. In the fortunate event that I raise more funds than I need, it will be donated toward the establishment of a study/internship abroad scholarship fund at my alma mater.
I ask that you assist me on my road to success and establishing my legacy. I have interned in Brazil with the Manaus’ Management Unit for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, I have led and participated in environmental and sustainability movement throughout the east-coast and I even traveled around the country writing and performing spoken-word poetry.
