Help Dr. Jessica Pay it Forward

It's been one year after being diagnosed with stage 3c breast cancer with highly extensive lymphatic involvement.  My prognosis was "curable intent" with a nice 5 year outlook. What?? I was 34 with a family...That wasn't enough. I was handed a binder full of data based on outdated clinical trials and elementary information on "how to survive treatment." As a chiropractor who specializes in functional medicine,  I knew better.  

What oncology didn't realize was that no one had done a clinical trial on  ME! I was not only going to survive, I was going to beat this and actually come out of treatment healthier than I went in to it.  Medically, I've undergone countless tests and appointments, 2 surgeries and 6 months of intense chemotherapy. But that wasn't all...I did an extensive nutritional protocol to heal my body. I changed my internal chemistry so that I not only wouldn't be destroyed from the side effects of chemo, but so that cancer could no longer thrive and grow. To achieve this, I ate an organic, ketogenic diet (and still do), followed my specifically designed supplement regimen, measured my functional health markers weekly, began a Qi gong practice, exercised almost daily and went to many other healing practitioners.    

Fortunately, my treatment has been successful at this time. Unfortunately, as you can imagine, medical bills, associated expenses and lost wages have been difficult to manage.
