Donnie's Day in the Park

Donnie Gibson is a 46 year old father, husband, friend and grandfather who has been fighting stage 4 lung cancer for the past 2 years.
He is trying
new treatments that could save his life, unfortunately his health insurance refuses to cover
the treatments required. Sadly, Donne's diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer has made it impossible for him to continue work. As you can imagine, his family is under heavy financial strain.
Donnie lives with his wife Kim and their daughter Cheyenne, he also has three other grown children; Anngelca, Kristyn, and Caleb.
A life-long resident of Myakka City, Donnie has always had a heart for others in need. Donnie has volunteered for years with the organization "Loving Hands Ministries". This non-for-profit provides the much needed message of God's hope and healing along with drug recovery and life-coaching for troubled young boys. By volunteering his time, he has helped countless hurting teens avoid future encounters with the criminal justice system.
We would like to pay it forward to Donnie, now that he is the one in need of the generosity of others.
Sunday November 3rd, please join us at the south end of the Myakka State Park (SR72 just east of Sarasota). The day will begin with a Fishing Tournament (sunrise is 6:33; Prizes! contact Bob Gibson [Telefonnummer bearbeitet]) A Worship Service at 8am followed by the 7-k run starting at 10am and the walk or crawl crowd around 10:15 all other activities kick off around 10:30-11:00 am. Live music, lot's of kid's games, and the absolute best home cooked BBQ of Myakka City. The day will also include Raffles and both Live auction and Silent auction.
