Help The Dockers raise money for the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America!
Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) is the first and largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization for new veterans, with over 200,000 Member Veterans and supporters nationwide. IAVA is a 21st Century veterans' organization dedicated to standing with the 2.4 million veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan from their first day home through the rest of their lives. Founded in 2004 by an Iraq veteran, our mission is to improve the lives of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families.
The Dockers, along with our friends from Realigned, Brownstone, Midpint, Fuse Box, and Boxx, will be performing a benefit concert at the Electric Palm on July 27th. All proceeds collected at the show, plus everything donated via GoFundMe, will be sent directly to IAVA to support their efforts to combat veterans' suicide, end the VA backlog, and provide reintegration support and help get our veterans back to work.
This is a cause that means a lot to us. Several of The Dockers are veterans of the War on Terror, as well as members of the other bands. Of course, we'd love to see you at the show, but even if you can't make it, donate to the cause here. All money collected via this GoFundMe site goes directly to IAVA through GoFundMe's partner system.
