Desperately Asking For Your Help to Save Our Home & Cover Medical Expenses - Your Kindness and Compassion is Appreciated
My name is Rebecca Snow and I set-up the
donation page listed for the Resch Family. I have known them for years
and you could not find nicer people who have just had massive setbacks after
losing their jobs, health insurance and being unable to find employment. They have two bright, adorable kids--- one of which is pictured above
with her little Florida tan. Homelessness will bring more problems than
you can imagine. Rich is my best friend.
In his own words, this is their story:
My family is uninsured and about to become
homeless. We have never been on welfare or sought out other social
services. We are hard-working professionals who lost our jobs through no fault
of our own. Now unemployed for almost two years after corporate
takeovers, freelance work just pays for food; we are out of every resource
saved and in foreclosure. We never lived above our means or financed a house in
excess of our income. We were approved for Florida's Hardest Hit Assistance but our lender is refusing to participate in the program. More than 10,000 resumes and documented
applications made to employers, contacts followed up and nothing yet except a
few one-time projects. The adage is true: when it rains, it pours. Now we have excessive medical bills, mom needs surgery, prescriptions,
kids need basic sustenance items and we are falling apart here. We want to save
our house we have lived in and paid for over 15 years or at least come up with money to move
to a new place. We are selling possessions but it just is not enough.
Please help us in any way you can, even if it is a $1 donation. It is all
appreciated, with our primary concern being keeping a roof over our head.
