Band Trip to 2015 Heritage Festival

Our campaign is all about extending learning  beyond the classroom walls. We are raising funds to send the Don Bosco Tech Concert Band to Colorado Springs, CO, to compete in the 2015 Heritage Music Festival, tour the University of Denver, tour the United States Airforce Academy and explore the Anasazi's Manitou Cliff Dwellings. Our band won a Gold, First Place award in last year's competition. In the last two years, the band has competed in San Francisco and San Diego and have consistantly placed in the top three of at least fifteen in our category. A trip to Colorado would be the biggest we have ever attempted, and we are hoping to raise money to help make it happen! Please check out our YouTube and Facebook links below. Don Bosco Technical Institute is an all-boys Catholic high school in Rosemead, CA. Our school focuses on teaching students a "tech" specialty in addition to the standard curriculum. By senior year, Bosco Tech students have spent at least three full years working on their chosen tech, such as computer science, architectural design, or digital media design. Students also have the opportunity to participate in sports teams as well as the DBTI band program. It can be quite a workload but Bosco Tech students excel at everything they do!
