Adults In Mission: Ecuador 2013

I have been given a great opportunity to go on a mission this fall to The Working Boys Center in Quito, Ecuador. The Working Boys' Center (WBC) in Quito was founded in 1964 to address the educational needs of boys working on the streets shining shoes. Soon afterward, the program was expanded to include the entire family and WBC - A Family of Families was born. Since its inception, Their objective has been to eliminate poverty among working children and their families. To date, over 6,000 families or around 30,000 people have left poverty forever as a result of the WBC - A Family of Families programs. The Center offers Education, Health including Medical, Dental and Special education. 

Since I’ve been involved with the youth ministry, we talk  about “Our Calling” from God and how everybody is called to do something you just need to be patient and pray. For the first time in my life, I feel like I am being called to do something, to go on this mission trip. On this trip, I will be working at the center, and even building a house for a family in need. 

I know this trip will be a huge blessing to the families in Ecuador, but I also know I will grow tremendously in the process. The trip dates will be October 18th-25th. In order for me to go on this trip I need to raise a total of approximately $1,600, which I know I can not do on my own. I would greatly appreciate if you would kindly support me on this Mission Trip, whether it be through prayer or donation. Thank you.
