Springbrook's Service Trip

Springbrook High School has started an annual international service trip for students in our International Baccalaureate (IB) program.  We don't want finances to limit which students can participate so we want to pay for half of each person's trip. The cost per person is $2000 and includes travel, lodging, meals, and group excursions. The Springbrook community has already succeeded in raising over $12,000 (great start!) BUT we need your help to meet our goal of $24,000.

Our goals for this trip are to expand the value of Springbrook's IB program and to celebrate our students' hard work and commitment to developing an international perspective by giving them a chance to explore another country in person while also engaging in service to that country.

This year we have partnered with Rustic Pathways to take 24 students to Costa Rica for 9 days, where they will teach children, support community improvement projects, contribute to green initiatives, and take part in cultural exchanges. In addition, their schedule includes several fabulous outdoor adventures in beautiful Costa Rica.

Your contribution will help students have an invaluable life experience, mold better global citizens, and at the same time enhance the distinctiveness of Springbrook's signature program. Any surplus will be set aside for next year's IB trip as we hope to make this an annual program.
