I am a 24 year old Vermonter suffering from late stage 3 Neuro Lyme Disease. I was bitten June 2012 and was misdiagnosed 7 times. In January 2013 I was diagnosed with 3 different positive tests through labs IGX and Quest. I have tried months of antibiotics and homeopathic treatments with little to no improvement. My symptoms have become debilitating. daily I suffer with: joint pain, joint swelling, body aches, short term memory loss, slurred speech, joint stiffness, mood swings, depression, disturbed sleep, dizziness, poor balance, difficulty with speech, fatigue, difficulty walking, difficulty with thinking, headache, blurred vision, muscle pain and cramps, numbness and tingling. It's hard to live my life as a young adult and run my pet grooming business as I am in such chronic pain each day. We are hoping to raise money to pay for my treatments which are almost always out of pocket, transportation and lodging. Most insurance companies will not cover any sort of treatment for Lyme Disease and we are forced to pay out of pocket.


There are many other co infections transmitted by ticks, deer flies, Mosquitos, horse flies and black biting flies.  I am now being treated at The Stram Center in Bennington Vermont by DR. Kory DiRoma. They specialize in Lyme disease and integrative medicine. 

I currently have been diagnosed with Lyme disease, Babesia, Tularemia, Ehrlichia, Myco plasma, MTHFR, Candida and Epstein- Barr



Everyday I struggle with daily tasks, getting out of bed, getting into the shower, getting dressed, putting shoes on, getting in and out of vehicles, walking, standing for more than 5 minutes. 

I am lucky to have a certified medical assist mobility dog (Banx) to help me with my balance. He goes to work with me when I am able to do so.  I am currently taking 47 pills a day, along with herbal tinctures and powders. Dr.DiRoma will be scheduling me to start weekly IV treatments. 

My my family and I are raising as much money to pay for my treatments, medications and appointments that our insurance MVP will not cover.
