My adventure will bring me to the "End of the World"  To swim in these dangerous waters where the Pacific Ocean meets the Atlantic Ocean                             55°58′ S, 67°16′ W-                         Meeting of the Oceans.                   There is no land East or West.  Plus-a Solo crossing of the Beagle Channel under Italy Glacier.  This is a once in a lifetime expedition and I would love your help to try finishing funding it.  (I am actively looking for a sponsor-if you feel you or your company would like to come to the 'end of the world' with me-please contact me) My name is Nuala Moore and I am an Irish Ice & Extreme swimmer. Adventure has always been my journey-working full time and balancing dreams of far away swims.   For the last decade I have always self funded my amazing swim expeditons including: -Relay team to swim around the Island of Ireland, 1,330km over 56 days in swim togs only.  -I have been a member of the only international team to swim across the Bering Strait from Russia to the USA-in some of the most dangerous waters in the world.   -I was the 1st Irish swimmer and the 6th woman in the world to complete 1000m@ 0 Deg ice in 2013 and since then I have represented Ireland around the world and competed 1000m distances in 3 World Championships in Ice water.  -Twice listed in the top 50 of the World Open Water Most Adventurous Women 2015 & 2017 -Twice nominated as the top 15 World Open Water Woman of the year 2014 & 2016 I have travelled to southern Argentina 3 times & relay swim from Chile to Argentina across the Beagle Channel.  Cape Horn was the next step-This is a massive expedition and I was hoping to secure a sponsor to help me cover some costs.  This is my first time using Go Fund me and I would greatly appreciate any assistance to allow me to get to the "End of the World"  For more info: http://openwaterpedia.com/index.php?title=Nuala_Moore This is big adventure.  I would really love your help in finishing my funding goal for 3 huge magnificent swims.  My plans with PatagoniaSwims April 2018: To swim a mile in these waters between the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean                         55°58′ S, 67°16′ W-                      Meeting of the Oceans.  In challenging waters across the Maritime Boundary separating the Pacific with the Atlantic at the point- there is no land East West along with other extreme channel swims in partner with Patagonia Swims.  Followed by A solo crossing of the Beagle Channel at Italy Glacier 2km 6-8deg The swims will require a full team of medic and rescue divers in the event of any incidents-most importantly to remove me from the water in the case that I cannot exit the water myself and remote emergency care if required.  I also have to pay for permits, security vessels and rescue cover, flights and accommodation. The water temperatures will be 6/7deg - 9deg and the water is challenging with difficult weather twists.  Our base will be Puerta William and then south to Cape Horn and Punta Arenas Chile for the Straits of Magellan.  The funds are to cover all permits, swim costs, medical team, crews and logistics and vessels. I have some funds secured but still need more than €10,000 I would really appreciate your support to take on this huge expedition.  I have always paid for my swims-huge expeditions to date and this is my first time taking the option of "Go Fund Me" I have to date donated over €90,000 to charity and for further info on me  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0Fl4DyBKPo  My Journey won Gold at the Global Awards in NY 2017 for the Best in the World for Native Content. (Non paying role-but beautiful to showcase my journey to the Ice) http://openwaterpedia.com/index.php?title=Nuala_Moore  I would have a huge interest in sponsorship opportunity and if you or  your company want to take a trip to Tierra del Fuego (the end of the world)  If you want more details.  Details of my swims:  1. The Cape Horn Swim- 55°58′ S, 67°16′ W Also known as the graveyard of ships, Cape Horn in Chile is the southernmost tip of South America. The Pacific and the Atlantic oceans meet at Cape Horn and Nuala Moore aims to be the first person to swim the one mile imaginary line that separates the two oceans in both directions. With water temperatures of between 6-9 degrees centigrade, the strong wind conditions and remote location mark it as one of the most difficult swims in the world. Nuala will have a team who focus will be to ensure her safety.  2. The Beagle Channel
The Beagle Channel is one of three navigable passages through South America. The Channel’s eastern area forms part of the border between Chile and Argentina while its western area is entirely within Chile. The swim planned is from Italy Glacier in Tierra del Fuego to Isla Gordon, a two-kilometre crossing of the Beagle Channel. Only one other person has completed this swim and Moore plans to do a double crossing, if weather permits. 3. The Straits of Magellan  Only a very small number of elite swimmers have made it across the Straits of Magellan, a five-kilometre body of water that is known for its huge currents and freezing conditions. Before the Panama Canal opened the Straits of Magellan was one of only three navigable sea routes connecting the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. Nuala Moore: elite swimmer in ice and marathon swimming. Listed in the top 50 world’s most adventurous women in the world of open swimming. Represented Ireland internationally in ice swimming and completed a round-Ireland 1,330km team swim over 56 days. She was a lead member of the Baring Strait Relay swim team from Russia to the USA over six days and was the international Ice Swimming World Ambassador of the Year 2015.  I would be so grateful for your assistance to help me achieve this amazing adventure.  Thank you  Nuala
