CCS Japanese Exchange Program

The Campus Community School Japanese Exchange Program needs your support to raise $24,500.00 to send six students and one teacher to Japan this June 2015.
We will be staying with host families for 8 days and exploring other parts of Japan including Tokyo, Sendai, and Mount Fiji.
The cost of the trip for each student is $3,500.00 dollars. The funds are for airline tickets, train and hotel accommodations in Japan.
The full Japanese program starts in March with ten students and two teachers from Iwanuma City middle schools coming and staying with students in Dover, to present to the students at Campus Community School and other local schools about the Japanese culture.
The recent visit by Japanese students to Campus Community School in Dover, Delaware, was a great pleasure and experience to our host families and our students.
Each year, students who are interested in participating in the Japanese Exchange Program start meeting in September once a week for the duration of the year learning about the language, culture, and geography of Japan.
Students who participate in this program must complete an application, have recommendations from teachers and must participate in the Japanese Exchange Program activities.
We appreciate your contribution to this once in a lifetime learning experience.
