Last update 1.19.15: Today, all the plans that were in place changed, but everyone agrees it's what is best for Brinlee! The planned biopsy was canceled, and now tomorrow they will remove the tumor as well as her kidney, as it's function is already less than 20%.. All the teams of Dr's agree that dialysis was going to happen sooner rather than later, and if chemo is needed her kidney would not have made it through it.. So, surgery is estimated to take around 4 hours, she will be getting ports for both types of dialysis (one has to rest before it can be used for a few weeks) and hospital stay is estimated 5-7days.. We are amazed at all the love and prayers for our beautiful, strong girl, and will always keep our faith!
