Brian Edwards Memorial Fund to benefit JES PTA

Brian Edwards was a dedicated Jefferson Elementary PTA member.  He served in a number of roles including Book Fair Chair, Vice President (2 years), and was always around to volunteer at events.  He was elected Co-President for the 2019-2020 school year, a role which he never got to fill.  The Jefferson Elementary community certainly lost a champion in Brian and he will be greatly missed.   

One of the projects he was passionate about starting at Jefferson this year, is a program that would provide students in need with Winter coats, boots, gloves, and hats.  The Jefferson Elementary PTA will be using any funds donated in his honor to create this program and work toward building it into a sustainable support system for the kids of Jefferson Elementary, so that they can focus on learning and growing and not on all the other things that they may be lacking through no fault of their own.  We hope that Brian's Closet will be able to help kids for many years to come.

Brian's Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11 am at Banyan's on the Ridge with lunch to follow.
