Hello, I'm Brian Dillon.
Are you compassionate? Would you consider making a donation to help my family pay for my funeral expenses?
Asking for your help this way is bittersweet for me.
I have been living/suffering from the incurable disease ALS. This is just one of many motor neuron diseases, it is more commonly known as "Lou Gehrig's disease".
My family has supported me since my diagnosis of bulbar onset ALS. There is no treatment, no cure, no known cause. I live my life fighting this cruel, debilitating disease, every hour, every day, every week, each month, after month. I don't get better, I get sicker and sicker until ALS ultimately wins and kills me. ALS has a 100% mortality rate, no one diagnosed has survived A LS. Upon my death I will be donating my brain and spinal cord to Massachusetts General ALS research efforts.
I'm trying to be proactive and raise funds for my family to use for my funeral expenses. Living with ALS has humbled me, and shown me there are many compassionate good-hearted people in this world. Your donation to my funeral fund during these difficult economic times is greatly appreciated.
