Bless the Stover Family

On Monday, May 5th, 22 year old Natasha Stover was on the farm where she worked. Her shift had ended and she was lying in the field sighting her BB gun. At the farm they had been watching for groundhogs near the manure pit because the groundhogs try to burrow into the pit. If they successfully burrow into the pit it would release the manure and cause an array of problems, including upsetting the EPA. Natasha had a dark bandana on her head and was lying on her belly in the grass. The farmer's 79 year old father saw her head and mistook her for a groundhog and went inside to get his 22 gauge long range rifle to get the groundhog...little did he know that it was Natasha that he was shooting at, not a pesky groundhog. His aim was spot on and the tragedy began. Natasha sustained a single bullet wound to the head and as the ER doctor told us, the injury was not compatible with life. Natasha passed away on Tuesday morning, to the dismay of her family and friends. She is survived by her parents, Greg and Rhonda Stover, and her older sister and brother, Jessica and Nathan Stover. Not to mention the many other people who loved her and are also in a time of immense sorrow. This fund is to help offset the expenses that her family has incurred. Let's come together and bless the Stover's in this terrible time of distress. And let's praise our Heavenly Father that Natasha is now dancing with her Savior in the gardens of Heaven! The photo you see on this page is Natasha dressed as an angel, as she did every year for the Live Nativity at her church, Tree of Life in Massillon.

The calling hours and the funeral will be held at The First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia, Ohio.  The funeral will be followed by a potluck to which everyone is invited.
