Hello guys :)
My name is Alexander Main. I'm at this moment very very close to making my dreams come true and starting my career. I want to do many things for this world. I believe that if we unite our forces we can achieve whatever we put our minds to and solve many of the problems we face as humanity today. This is what I've devoted my life to and I would like to inspire others and contribute to change our world for good.
At this very moment, I'm in Portland, Oregon, USA, working on an open source project called the "Bike RV Project". Basically, I built a solar-powered, self-sustainable, micro-house which I attach to my bicycle and bike around town while I crash at peoples yards.
My plan is to get people interested in this new category of low-cost houses, which, for instance, could be a very nice recreational vehicle but most importantly a life-saving solution to houseless (homeless) people across the world.
I will soon publish the plans and list of materials for free online so anyone in the world can built there own, improve upon my model, or use it as an inspiration to create a new, better and cheaper model.
The reason I'm starting this "Gofundme" campaign is to collect enough money so I can continue doing this awesome project and eventually stay in the USA (or go back to my lovely Europe) and get a Kickstarter Project started!!!
Here are the things I would need some financial support for:
For the Bike RV itself:
- New bicycle (better seat and breaks)
- Better, larger capacity battery
- 150W Power Inventor
- 12 volt powered egg boiler (for eating breakfast)
- Bike Kickstand / Helmet / Lights
- New Wheels for the RV
- Basic tools I need to carry with me
For the Project:
- Production of a professional-made video
- Business Cards / Flyers
- Register a company (pay fees, paper work, etc..)
- Talk to an Attorney
For me:
- Phone/Internet Bill
- Food, etc
I think that $ 1,000 would be enough to get this all done in the little time I have left in Portland. Please, if you share my vision and idea, I would very much appreciate your help.
