Every
day we face a struggle that we can easily solve with just the will of doing so.
Take for instance a procrastinator, they know what they must do but do not
follow through. Simply because they have "better" things to do than
solving their actual problems. This is our education systems of now, neglected
and postponed. We live in an age with smart phones, smart buildings and smart
cars... But what about the smart people? As the technological revolution takes
over, we no longer need to know what makes the watch tick but rather decorate
the outside with luxury and leisure. Our schools seem to have trouble keeping
up with the teens these days and how they should learn. It's no longer the
school teaching students, the students now teach the school.
With all the
technological advances made at the fingertips of teens, there also seems to be
a buildup of ignorance. Many youth begin to believe that they're more
knowledgeable than the teacher, simply because they can Google anything with
their phones. A teacher spends years studying and majoring in specific subject,
while a student has no background knowledge of what they read. The cause of
this ignorance is the effortless actions and the luxury of the new age. But
this also brings another problem into the scene.
