Blackstone Valley Youth Football and Cheerleading is a 501(c)(3) organization providing services for approximately 4,000 children ages 5 - 18 in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.
In December, our All Star team of approximately thirty (30) 8th grade students who are 14 years old and younger, compete at the AYF National Championships in Kissimmee, Florida. The cost of sending a team to the National Championships is between $30,000.00 and $35,000.00 (approximately $800.00 - $1,000.00 per participant and coach). With approximately 40% inner city programs, the cost of participating in the National Championships is a financial hardship on the participants and coaches.
