Mental Health Service Trip to Ecuador!

Hi everyone!
As many of you know, I am currently pursuing my Master's in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Pittsburgh. I am concentrating in direct practice with a focus on mental health with children, youth, and families and hope to graduate in December 2014!
I was recently accepted into a program called Ecuador Professional Preparation Program, for a 4-week summer cultural immersion experience for mental health and educational practitioners in Quito, Ecuador! Through this program, I will have the opportunity to provide service in a school or clinical facility four days a week, while learning more about Latino culture, developing my Spanish speaking skills, and gain a knowledge of psychological and educational practices in Ecuador. I will have the opportunity to meet with national leaders in psychology, education and children's rights, as well as develop my professional abilities in serving others. Through this program I will be able to develop skills for my goal of serving various minority populations through Social Work in the U.S.!
This trip will take place between June 26, 2014-July 27, 2014. I would love to make this journey happen this summer, and I need your help! The cost of the program is $3250, which is due in full by April 30th, 2014. This amount will cover ground transportation, Ecuadorian exit tax, meals, housing with a host family, laundry, 16-hours per week of 1:1 Spanish instruction, insurance, and group excursion, which is a great deal! However, I am setting my goal at $4500 to assist in paying for airfare and personal expenses while in Ecuador :)
I have been truly blessed with an amazing, once in a lifetime educational and service opportunity and I can't express how excited I am to travel to Ecuador!
