Annmarie Keller's Olympic Dream

Donation protected
My name is Annmarie Keller; I am 23 years old and am a member of the Amateur Trap Shooting Association. While at 2014 spring selection USA Olympic Trap Tournament in Kerrville Texas, I will have the opportunity to tryout for the USA Olympic Trap Team for the 2016 Olympics. Being a member of "Team USA" has been a dream of mine all the way back in my childhood and then again my freshman year at Eastwood High school when I was on the ROTC Varsity Rifle Squad. There are several different "qualifying" events that I am required to participate in here in the United States as well as the World Cup events held in both Thailand and Spain later this year.

As you know, an athlete trying to make the jump from amateur to professional is not easy.
I am no stranger in having to overcome difficult odds; I have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder called Asperger's, this past November I underwent a spinal surgery and was diagnosed with Multiple Bilateral Pulmonary Embolisms two weeks after the surgery. Being a fighter, I was released from the hospital within one week; I was sent home on 24hr oxygen and a wheelchair. Just three months later, I have recovered from my pulmonary infarction, off of the oxygen, no need for the wheelchair or a walker, and am back to shooting 100 birds per event.

All of these events are going to cost quite a bit of money.  This is my dream, and I really want to be able to do it.  I am working hard to improve my shooting so that I can achieve my goals, and any help that anyone can give to help me will be greatly appreciated.
