Cecelia’s Surgery

Meet Cecilia, she is 12 years old and is living in a very harsh and impoverished community in Ghana. She is in need of surgery for a growth on her neck.Our goal is to raise $1,500 by Friday, November 22. That's just 4 days!

We have known Cecilia for 3 years now. Each time we see her the growth is affecting her more. The first year it was very noticeable but didn't cause any other problems. Over time the growth has impacted her ability to eat and sleep.

This week we are with Cecilia in Ghana. Her doctor is stating that it is time to do surgery to remove the growth. To help Cecilia we need to raise $1,500. The surgery will cost $1,000 and her follow up, medication, transportation and other basic needs for recovery will be at least $500.

Angelisa, age 13, is currently with Cecilia in Ghana and wants to be able to tell Cecelia that this surgery is possible. Angelisa has asked that we raise this money so that Cecilia can have surgery and be on her way to recovery as soon as possible
